Using
e/Forms and a blank page or an page with a red X appears. Depending
on what version of Acrobat you are using the location of the setting will
be different that will need to be modified. The setting in particular is
labelled DISPLAY PDF IN BROWSER. For Acrobat 4.0 the setting
name is a little different. Follow the applicable steps to reset the
Adobe Acrobat Setting.
Acrobat
8.0, 7.0 and 6.0
- Go to the Menu Edit -> Preferences -> Internet
- The first item listed should be, Display PDF in Browser
- Uncheck that checkbox, Display PDF in Broswer

Retry to load a form in e/Forms and it will appear in the Adobe Acrobat
window.
- Revert the setting back within Adobe Acrobat.
- The form will appear on the right hand side in e/Forms
- NOTE: For Acrobat 8.0 do not follow the last 2 steps. The Import
Data button will not work if you open the form directly with the e/Forms
software.
Acrobat 5.0
- Go to the Menu Edit -> Preferences -> General
- Go to Options
- The first item listed should be, Display PDF in Browser
- Uncheck that checkbox, Display PDF in Broswer

- The form will appear on the right hand side in e/Forms
Acrobat 4.0
- Go to the Menu File -> Preferences -> General
- In the bottom half of the Window there will be an Options section
- The will be an item listed, Web Browser Integration
- Uncheck that checkbox, Web Browser Integration

- The form will appear on the right hand side in e/Forms
