Import Button does not import data.

Open up Acrobat to see what version is installed.  If it is the 64 bit version of Acrobat look in the title bar, it should state (64 bit) in the name of the program.  Alternatively go to Help > About and it will state there what revision is on the computer..

For  64 bit versions of Acrobat Reader DC a setting needs to be changed.  The Add-On for Acrobat needs to be disabled.  In Acrobat, go to Edit > Preferences > Internet > Internet Settings > Programs > Manage Add-Ons > Adobe PDF Reader > Disable.

The link below describes the process.

Once that setting is changed then the PDF forms will open up in a new window rather than imbedded within the e/Forms software.

Then follow steps below.

For Adobe Reader 11 or Adobe Reader DC

Open up Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat
Go to the menu item Edit > Preferences
Select Security (Enhanced) under the Categories window on the left hand side
Uncheck the first check box on the top right that is labeled, Enable Protected Mode at Startup
Close Adobe Reader
Restart the e/Forms software and try the import button again

If the problem still exists double check that the check box is unselected.  Close down the e/Forms software before changing the setting within Acrobat Reader.  Make sure that there are no instances of Adobe Reader or Acrobat running in the background.  This link below describes How to Kill Acrobat.

If you get a message when opening e/Forms stating e/Forms Data Import Scripts Not Set...

1. Right click on the link and select Save target As... to save this file.
2. Keep the filename as is, it will be import.js, press the Save button.
3. After the file downloads, press the middle button Open Folder.
4. The file import.js or import will be highlighted.  Right click on the file and select Cut.

Then copy the file to the Javascripts subfolder, within the Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader installation folder.  Depending on what version of Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader you have installed the location will differ.  Navigate to the Javascripts subfolder and Right Click and select Paste to copy the file to that folder.  Listed below are the default installation folders for the different versions of Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat.
